How long does it take to dry?

Most upholstery and carpets are dry within 4–6 hours. Add our Fast Drying option and it’s usually just 1–2 hours.

Are your products safe for pets and kids?

Yes. We use eco-friendly, non-toxic solutions and 200°F steam that sanitizes without harsh chemical residue — safe for children and pets.

How much does it cost?

Couch cleaning starts at $119 and depends on the number of seats. Send a photo when you book and we’ll confirm an exact, fair price up front.

What areas do you serve?

We cover the Denver metro and about 35 miles around it — Denver, Commerce City, Thornton, Westminster, Aurora, Brighton, Parker and more.

Pay after the job is done — cash, check or card (Stripe). No deposit required to book.

Terms of Service

These simple terms apply to every First Urban Clean booking (First Urban LLC, dba First Urban Clean). By booking you agree to them.

What’s included in a couch cleaning

A standard couch cleaning includes the couch body, seat cushions and back cushions. Decorative (throw) pillows are a separate add-on — just ask, we’re happy to quote them.

Stains — honest expectations

We use professional 200°F hot-water extraction, eco-friendly solutions and every tool available to us, and we will always do our absolute best. However, no cleaning company can guarantee complete removal of every stain. Some stains (old dye transfer, bleach spots, ink, some pet stains, sun fading) may be permanent, and results depend on the fabric and how the stain was treated before us. If we believe a stain won’t come out, we’ll tell you honestly before we start.

Arrival window

Your booked time is the center of a 15-minute arrival window: for a 9:00 appointment your cleaner arrives between 8:45 and 9:15. Denver traffic and parking are real — if we’re ever running beyond the window, we’ll call or text you right away.

Cancellations & rescheduling

Plans change — rescheduling is free anytime using the link in your confirmation email. Cancellation is free with more than 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations less than 48 hours before the visit carry a $30 late-cancellation fee, since that slot was held for you and can rarely be re-filled on short notice.

Missed visits. If we arrive within your arrival window and can’t get in after waiting 20 minutes (no answer at the door or by phone), the visit counts as missed. Your booking and any prepayment are kept, you can pick a new time online, and a $50 missed-visit fee is added to your order.

Payment

No deposit for standard bookings. Pay after the job — cash, check, Zelle, or card (a card processing fee applies to online card payments).

Minimum visit: $99. Online orders below that amount include a “minimum visit adjustment” up to $99 — or you can add items or upgrades for the same amount instead.

Travel fee: $50 for outlying areas about an hour or more from us (e.g. Castle Rock, Fort Collins, mountain towns, Colorado Springs) — waived on orders of $500 or more. It is shown on the booking form as soon as you enter your ZIP code.

Access & preparation

Please clear small items off the furniture and secure pets in another room. Fabrics need a few hours to dry — we’ll tell you the exact time on site.

Emails and text messages

We keep you updated by email about every booking: confirmation, a reminder before the visit, changes or cancellations, receipts, a review request after the job and an occasional follow-up. Text messages are sent only if you opt in (see SMS Terms below). Reply to any email to ask us to stop non-essential emails.

SMS Terms

If you tick the optional “Text me booking updates” box when booking, First Urban LLC, doing business as First Urban Clean (also shown as “1 Urban Clean”), will send text messages about your appointment only: a booking confirmation, a reminder before the visit, a notice if your appointment is rescheduled or canceled, and a secure payment link for your order. No marketing texts. Message frequency varies (usually 2–5 messages per booking). Message and data rates may apply.

Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase — you can book without it and still get everything by email. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Additional terms

Minimum Service Charge

Our company has a $150 minimum service charge per appointment. If the total cost of the selected cleaning services is less than $150, additional services may be added to meet the minimum order requirement. This may include add-on services such as Fast Drying, Stain Protector, Odor Treatment, or other available services.

The $150 minimum applies to each service appointment, regardless of the number or type of items being cleaned.
